When the founder of the company gets old, he/she often wishes to transfer the business to own children. But only a third of family businesses succeed in this process.

Who will guide you through the course?
Prof. Jiří Hnilica, Ph.D., founder and head of the Family Business Center at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE). Since 2019, he has been teaching a series of courses for members of entrepreneurial families, where they can find the know-how needed to transfer, sell, or otherwise prepare their family business and assets for the future. Dozens of participants complete these courses every year.
Ing. Martin Jurek, Ph.D., academic director of the Family Business Center at VŠE and a member of a family-run gastronomy business. Since 2019, he has been teaching a series of courses for members of entrepreneurial families, where they can find the know-how needed to transfer, sell, or otherwise prepare their family business and assets for the future. Dozens of participants complete these courses every year.
Together, they will help you identify the important things that are usually left unsaid – and find a way to start talking about them and taking action.
